A bit more about me

I grew up in ZhuZhou and Changsha, cities in Hunan Province, China. I spend my college time in Wuhan and Beijing. In late 2019, I came to Boston and fell in love with this city, so I still live here.

Instead of cartoons, my childhood was filled with movies and TV series played by my parents. I think this is the origin of my passion for media and entertainment. They were my very first ways to "experience" the outside world, and they still are. I also spent three months working for a Chinese reality show program and learned the different considerations of users and creators.

I designed my personal logo. Here are some ideas behind it.

1. It is constructed by "C" and "L", which is the abbreviation of my name.
2. It looks like a pie chart, which is often used in UX and market research reports, suggesting the type of job I love.
3. The blue color is Zima Blue, a color in the short animation video with the same name. What I read from this video is "chasing your original and simple passion." I want to put a comic strip expressing the same idea here too.
